After a long day of kayaking, we stopped in for a late lunch at King's Duck Inn. We received a voucher from Calypso Kayaking for free drinks at the Inn so we wanted to take advantage of the coupon and after being exposed to the extreme heat, we were in dire need of some cold drinks! As you walk in, you encounter the bar along with a single pool table. They offer two dining areas, the main room and high top tables in the bar area. We sat down in the bar area because the dining room was set up for the Corvette Club. We were able to check out all the sexy Corvettes in the parking lot which was a huge plus! Their menu is small and they are known for their wings. My wife decided on a Cheeseburger, my son had a huge slice of Cheese Pizza and I went for the Teriyaki Garlic Wings. My wings were flavorful and swimming in teriyaki sauce. The teriyaki overpowered the garlic but all in all, I was satisfied. The service was perfect! Our waitress was very attentive and after noticing that I am a hardcore soda drinker, she brought over a pitcher of Pepsi and left it on the table. I noticed that they do offer Live music on Saturdays and I assume the place gets packed considering there's not much else in the area.

Food is hot and good. Had a fish sandwich well worth the small price. Good portion too. I haven't had the chance to patronize the bar part but it's always busy and made it through the recession so expect to find low prices and lots of locals.

Came here for.ladies night. Tried the pizza was tough like a piece of shoe leather which means it was probably reheated. The menu said best on merritt. Island. I hope that is not true

Always use to come for a Philly cheese steak for lunch at least 2-3 times a month. Best sandwiches on the island hands down. Bar staff is awesome. They will remember you and are always very nice. Would be 5 stars but beer is super pricey. Otherwise I would recommend to everyone.

Excellent, friendly, and warm service. The bread used for the subs is divine. Nice, tucked-out-of-the-way location. Looks like a dive bar but definitely is a family friendly place. Highly recommend it.

This is a cool bar with a friendly staff and better-than-usual bar food. King's Duck Inn is across the street from the road that leads to Kars Park and Savannah's Golf Course, so they get a fair amount of post-golf crowd. They have a pool table, darts, large covered patio. It is about the only place on Merritt Island open until 2AM. We stopped in late one night and they had karaoke. Whether you are a regular or a first time patron, they make you feel welcome, with a "come on in" for anyone who shows up at the door. We went there once, then came back 3 weeks later. Sabrina, at the back bar remembered all four of our drinks, which is some sort of cool, "I can't remember names, but I can remember faces and drinks" trick. For dinner, we've tried the salads, burgers, wings, potato skins, but also the blackened mahi mahi sandwich that was on the special board the other day. It was a great mahi sandwich.

I always hit the KDI after a round of golf at the Savannahs for my 19th hole practice. The drinks are priced right, the food is very good and the servers are very warm and friendly. My only complaint is that this place used to be a bar first with food and they seem to be trasitioning to a restaurant first with a bar. They have removed the high top tables with bar stools and pool table for more restaurant seating. Either way I still enjoy going here for a couple of pops.

They Ying Ling on tap is about all I can say about this place. Its basically a sports bar with a good name. TV's and probably a pool table. There ain't much for entertainment in Merritt Island, but this was a fineplace to stop after an afternoon at the shooting range. We got the Nachos. Meh.
